About the Role
You will work with a cross-functional team to design and build scalable microservices and event-driven architectures. The role involves hands-on development using modern JavaScript frameworks and backend Node.js, writing tests, and participating in agile development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software features in small scrum teams
• Write unit, functional, and end-to-end tests using Jest, Mocha, and Chai
• Design architecture and set coding standards for VueJS and NodeJS applications
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and global teams
• Maintain product knowledge and implement new functionalities

Required Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with MERN/MEVN stack (MongoDB, ReactJS/VueJS/NextJS, NodeJS)
• Strong experience with test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of database schema design with both RDBMS and NoSQL
• Experience in ecommerce or digital commerce domains with high transaction volumes
• Proficient with web services, REST APIs, and microservices
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and real-time data analytics (Hadoop, Spark, Kinesis)
• Comfortable working with GitHub and feature branching workflows
• Excellent communication skills in a global and distributed agile environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with workflow technologies (e.g., WDL)
• Programming skills in Python and/or Rust
• Basic understanding of fonts and font technologies
