Key Responsibilities:

• Working Experience on Production environment.
• Analyze and resolve production & non-production issues within set SLAs.
• Identify the severity level of the customer-impacting issue & react accordingly.
• Investigate system logs to resolve production issues and restore services.
• Provide RCA for production issues to avoid recurrence.
• Regularly communicate incident/request status to teams/customers impacted.
• Deploy, monitor & troubleshoot new software versions in production & non-Production environments.
• Work closely with our development and QA team to address software bugs.
• Identify trends in reported issues, report them and suggest possible solutions.
• Design procedures to eliminate manual processes in the team.
• Required to have good communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Able to work under a high-pressure environment with flexible work timings.
• Be a part of a 24x7 on-call rotation to provide continuous support.
• Support install, upgrade application software across environments.

Job/Technical Skills:

Mandatory:

• 2-5 years of systems engineering or application support experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or relevant experience.
• Operating Systems: Linux (Red Hat, Oracle Linux, CentOS).
• Application Middleware platforms: Jboss, Apache, Tomcat, NGINX, etc.
• Knowledge of Jenkins, Terraform, GIT, Ansible, etc.
• Hands-on administration experience with Cloud Platforms like AWS.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (K8), ArgoCD, HelmChart.
• Ability to multitask with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Java applications and Oracle/MySQL databases.
• Experience with PL/SQL (reading/interpreting/executing statements).
• Skills with Bash/Perl, Shell, Python, Groovy.
• Knowledge of Networks, Firewalls, File Shares, Windows, DNS, TCP/IP.
• Knowledge & Experience on JIRA, Confluence.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Graylog, etc.
