About the Role

As a Network Engineer L1 at MKS Instruments, you will join the IT Infrastructure team and report to the Sr. Manager of IT Infrastructure. This is an operational support role focused on maintaining network and security systems, ensuring SLA compliance, and delivering outstanding customer service.

• Respond to incidents and resolve issues based on SLA timelines.
• Follow 100% adherence to change control guidelines.
• Install, configure, and maintain network routing, switching, firewall, and security platforms.
• Troubleshoot hardware and configuration issues.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster teamwork within the IT team.

Your Skills

• 6 months to 3+ years of experience in Network and Security administration.
• Familiarity with virtualization environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
