Role Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Micron, you will play a key role in developing, automating, and maintaining scalable infrastructure that ensures reliable and high-performing systems.
You’ll collaborate with developer teams, design automation workflows, and work on critical production systems that power Micron’s global operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and administer solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Perform Linux administration with automation tools like Ansible.
• Write and debug code in Python, Go, and C++.
• Identify reliability and resiliency issues in complex systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define system infrastructure roadmaps.
• Respond to incident tickets and ensure rapid resolution for mission-critical systems.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve system reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of debuggers, compilers, source control, and networking architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes clusters and high availability architectures.
• Passion for automation, CI/CD, and operational excellence.
• Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
• Self-motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented.

Education & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum CGPA: 7.0 or above.
