About the Role
Metyis is seeking a CloudOps/DevOps Engineering Associate to join their growing Data & Analytics team. This role involves supporting data pipeline operations, platform infrastructure design, and automation within Microsoft Azure environments.

What You'll Do

• Assist in creating and maintaining data pipelines for analytics products.
• Support the design of infrastructure, networking, and security with a focus on compliance and cost-efficiency.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform.
• Help ensure high availability and performance of the data platform.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop automated services and APIs.
• Gain experience with Unix/Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Support CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Work within Azure data platform components and analytics tools.
• Learn and apply automation practices using open-source tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in CloudOps, DevOps, or IT infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps (other cloud platforms a plus).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, YAML, PowerShell, git).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, DP-203) are recommended.
• Experience in Azure data platform projects is a plus.
• Understanding of software engineering best practices in design, testing, and debugging.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn about data analytics and cloud operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with testing and data quality tools (e.g., Pytest, Great Expectations).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark and Databricks.
