About the Role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and optimize secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure for MetBrains’ learning platform and global operations. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and data teams to ensure reliable deployments, strong system performance, and continuous operational improvement.

This role is ideal for professionals passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps best practices, with an interest in education-focused platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Monitor system performance, uptime, and resource utilization
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize build, release, and deployment workflows
• Manage containerized applications using Docker
• Continuously evaluate and adopt modern DevOps tools and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems and shell scripting
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and DevOps workflows
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure)
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools
• Understanding of networking, security, and system architecture
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote, global team environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Cloud-native monitoring
• Knowledge of secure cloud architecture and cost optimization
• Interest in education, training, or mentorship-driven platforms
