About the Role
As a Software Engineer at Mercor, you will play a pivotal role in building the world’s most effective AI recruiting platform — enabling millions of job matches globally.

You’ll work on features that:

• Enhance AI-driven interviews
• Manage millions of dollars in weekly payouts
• Scale the hiring engine that powers global employment

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, high-performance web applications using React and Next.js
• Build backend systems with Python or Go
• Design and implement schemas for SQL and NoSQL databases
• Work with cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP
• Collaborate closely with global teams aligned with US Pacific Time (work till at least 11am PT)
• Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and scalability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, Python, or Go
• Hands-on experience with database design (SQL and NoSQL)
• Familiarity with GCP or AWS
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for continuous learning
• Willingness to align with Pacific Time hours (till at least 11 AM PT)

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $20K – $100K per annum
• Performance bonus: up to 40% of base
