What You'll Do

At Meltwater, our DevOps Engineers play a crucial role in building and maintaining robust, scalable, and highly available infrastructures that support a global client base. You will:

• Develop, test, and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant DevOps architectures for large-scale data processing and machine learning applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams, taking full ownership of subsystems and infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshooting and resolving real-time issues efficiently.
• Optimize and enhance technology stacks by modifying open-source libraries and integrating innovative solutions.
• Champion a strong DevOps culture with best practices in CI/CD, IaC (Infrastructure as Code), and automated testing.

What You'll Bring

• B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on with Python (1+ years) for scripting and automation.
• Java (2+ years) backend development (JUnit, Maven, Spring Boot, REST APIs).
• 2+ years strong expertise with:
  • Terraform (IaC).
  • Cloud platforms (preferably Azure, AWS is a plus).
  • Docker containerization.
• 1+ year experience with Kubernetes (K8s) container orchestration.
• Experience with:
  • CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions is a plus).
  • Cloud networking (VPC, EC2, routing, security).
  • Observability: logging, monitoring, and alerting.

Nice to Have:

• Messaging systems: Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Kinesis.
• Serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
• Exposure to NLP, ML, LLMs, or MLOps pipelines.
