Job Overview
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will manage the health, performance, and reliability of critical business systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Jira, and Confluence. This is a high-impact position combining cloud infrastructure, automation, DevOps, and enterprise IT to ensure system uptime, performance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable, high-availability systems architecture for enterprise apps (SAP, Salesforce, Jira, Confluence).
- Proactively monitor performance and automate repetitive tasks using scripting tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless deployments and upgrades.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement SRE best practices focused on SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs.
- Optimize hybrid/multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Lead disaster recovery and business continuity efforts.
- Ensure security and regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Drive automation with tools like Terraform, GitHub Actions, CloudFormation.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive stakeholder communication.
Required Skills & Tools
- Deep knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, Jira, Confluence
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong in scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell
- DevOps tools: Jenkins, Terraform, GitOps, GitHub Actions
- Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, Dynatrace, Splunk
- Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or similar
- 3–5 years in IT operations with at least 3 in SRE roles
- Experience supporting enterprise apps and CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud-native expertise with Kubernetes, serverless, hybrid cloud environments
- Understanding of security, compliance, incident management, and ITIL
