Job Description:

Mediaocean, a global leader in ad tech with over $200B annualized ad spend managed through its platform, is hiring a Software Engineer for its Engineering Support team in Pune.

You’ll be part of a high-impact team supporting Mediaocean’s enterprise-grade ad infrastructure. This is a full-time opportunity to work across global teams, troubleshoot complex systems, and build your career in one of the most innovative media technology companies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve technical escalations in a high-volume enterprise web application
  • Analyze application logs and perform root cause analysis for production issues
  • Collaborate with L1 support, QA, and dev teams across global offices (Australia, US)
  • Maintain accurate ticket documentation in CRM
  • Contribute actively to internal knowledge base and SOP documentation
  • Provide high-quality, timely responses to medium to high complexity issues
  • Work in evening hours occasionally to support international time zones

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL (Oracle/MSSQL) – ability to write and debug queries
  • Basic knowledge of Unix shell scripting
  • Experience in debugging Java or .NET-based web applications
  • Familiarity with enterprise-grade production support and incident handling
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Understanding of SOPs, escalation protocols, and customer handling in SaaS environments

Preferred Experience:

  • 1–3 years of relevant production or application support experience
  • Ability to decipher log files and troubleshoot backend processes
  • Exposure to CRM systems and global support operations
