Position Overview

Job Title: DevOps Engineering Intern
Department: Tech Ops – R&D
Employment Type: Internship

MasterControl is seeking a Junior / Intern DevOps Engineer who is eager to learn, innovate, and grow within a cloud-native AWS Kubernetes ecosystem.
You’ll gain hands-on experience building Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), creating CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with a world-class engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and implement automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Artifactory.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve build and deployment processes.
• Learn and integrate Security, Compliance, and Quality Gates into pipelines.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Terragrunt, or Atlantis.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and support for CI/CD issues.
• Evaluate, build, and automate cloud solutions for improved release stability and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 0–3 years of DevOps experience with cloud-based CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, Jenkins).
• 1–3 years of experience working with AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes (EKS, ArgoCD, Istio).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, Atlantis).
• Programming knowledge in Java, Ruby, Golang, Python, or Groovy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and building scalable cloud systems.
