Role Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer in the Cloud Operations team, you’ll build and maintain the backbone of Lucidworks’ managed cloud infrastructure. You’ll work on automation, uptime assurance, and tools that enhance team efficiency and customer success across global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build automation tools for internal and external customer provisioning.
• Maintain and scale cloud infrastructure ensuring 99.9%+ uptime.
• Develop tools, monitors, and alerts to support high reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and global operations staff.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and flexible shift schedule.

• Languages & Tools: Python, Golang, Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions
• Cloud & Containers: GCP, GKE, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Istio
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Rootly
• Search Stack: Solr, Apache Lucene

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of DevOps experience in SaaS/PaaS environments.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Helm, GCP, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience managing large-scale JVM-based distributed systems.
• Understanding of SaaS infrastructure and deployment models.
• Background in search technologies (Solr, Elasticsearch, etc.) is a plus.
• Must be open to on-call duties and weekend work when required.
