Lowe's is seeking a Software Engineer to work in Backend Java. This role is focused on translating business requirements into logical program designs and delivering software solutions. You will be working on enterprise-level applications, ensuring successful deployment and integration across environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements and specifications into logical program designs, code modules, and software solutions.
• Develop and configure integrated business applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Support systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Automate and simplify development, testing, and operations processes.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle and ensure quality software deployment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field.
• 3+ years' experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• 2+ years of experience in developing REST-based services.
• Familiarity with database technologies like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field.
• Experience building microservices (3+ years).
• 2+ years' experience in DevOps and building CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Gradle, Sonar, Jenkins, JFrog).
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Karate, Cucumber).
• Exposure to PCI-DSS and secure coding best practices.
