🔧 Responsibilities

✔️ Install, configure, and maintain Linux systems in development and production environments
✔️ Monitor system health using NewRelic, Prometheus, Grafana
✔️ Implement system hardening and security compliance measures
✔️ Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Ansible, Terraform
✔️ Automate routine tasks using Shell scripting or Python
✔️ Manage containerized applications with Docker & Kubernetes
✔️ Support CI/CD pipeline maintenance & improvement
✔️ Troubleshoot and resolve system issues & incidents
✔️ Document system architectures & operational procedures

🎓 Required Skills

✅ Strong foundation in Linux fundamentals & command-line operations
✅ Experience with major Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat)
✅ Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH)
✅ Familiarity with Git and version control systems
✅ Knowledge of Bash scripting fundamentals

⭐ Preferred Skills

💡 Experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
💡 Understanding of Docker & containerization
💡 Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
💡 Knowledge of Python or another scripting language
💡 Experience with monitoring tools

🎓 Education

• Pursuing/completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
• Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, etc.) are a plus
