Position Summary

As an Associate QA Engineer, you will be responsible for debugging and testing software products. You will develop and apply quality standards for products, execute automated test scripts, and maintain test results to help identify and resolve issues. Your work will ensure the reliability and functionality of software before release.

Responsibilities

• Execute test cases and report defects
• Reproduce issues and assist in debugging
• Prepare test scenarios and write test cases
• Work with test management tools for defect tracking
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues
• Participate in exploratory gameplay sessions and write new test cases
• Set up and maintain test environments
• Work within an Agile methodology
• Provide feedback on software functionality and performance

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Experience in black box, smoke, sanity, regression, integration, and system testing
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• ISTQB certification is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, M.C.A., M.Sc.
• 0.6-1.5 years of experience in Manual Testing
• Experience working in Agile methodologies
• Good communication and teamwork skills
