Role Overview The Genesys Cloud Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting and operating enterprise-grade cloud contact center platforms, internal server infrastructure, and network communication systems. This role focuses on cloud operations, network troubleshooting, infrastructure planning, and vendor coordination, ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure systems.

This position is ideal for professionals looking to grow their careers in cloud support engineering, network operations, VoIP systems, and SaaS platform support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, operate, and support server infrastructure and cloud-based application architectures
  • Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and internal data communication systems
  • Support Genesys Cloud / Contact Center infrastructure and related enterprise platforms
  • Plan, configure, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, bridges, and concentrators
  • Diagnose and resolve network, performance, and connectivity issues
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for installation, upgrades, and maintenance
  • Participate in project planning, implementation, and infrastructure rollouts
  • Conduct cost analysis, vendor comparisons, and technical evaluations
  • Ensure system availability, performance optimization, and operational reliability

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP)
  • Experience supporting enterprise cloud platforms or SaaS applications
  • Knowledge of server infrastructure, application architecture, and internal networks
  • Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting and system diagnostics
  • Familiarity with vendor coordination, infrastructure deployment, and IT projects
  • Ability to analyze system performance and recommend improvements
  • Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to Genesys Cloud, Contact Center platforms, or VoIP systems
  • Experience with cloud networking or cloud support environments
  • Knowledge of enterprise security, firewalls, and network compliance
  • Experience in IT service delivery or technical support roles
  • Understanding of cost optimization and infrastructure planning
