About the Role

Leap is looking for a DevOps Engineer to own and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and zero-downtime deployments.
You will collaborate with development teams to support dev cycles, manage alerts and monitoring systems, and implement automation best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure zero-downtime deployments across all environments.
• Auto-scale infrastructure during high-traffic periods.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure issues in production environments.
• Support development teams during dev cycles and environment setups.
• Manage and optimize alerting and monitoring systems.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 1.5 – 3 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Operations.
• Strong experience with AWS services: EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, VPC.
• Proficiency with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience configuring and managing Nginx as reverse proxy, load balancer, and web server.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools: ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Database management experience: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search, Redis Cache.
• Strong knowledge of version control with Git and code management best practices.
