About the Role:
As a DevOps Engineer II at Kotak Mahindra Bank, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience on our digital platforms by managing tools and infrastructure that support modern application deployments. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and support staff to ensure stable, secure, and efficient software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and set up new development tools and cloud infrastructure
- Automate deployment and release processes using DevOps practices
- Perform root cause analysis and provide Level 3 technical support
- Identify and fix production issues with effective troubleshooting
- Integrate internal backend systems and develop necessary automation
- Monitor production environments and implement preventive measures
- Work with development teams to ensure best practices and continuous delivery
- Design procedures for system maintenance and incident management
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
- 5–8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Proficient with Git, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and infrastructure as code
- Working knowledge of Spring Boot, ISTIO/Service Mesh (Tetrate), Helm Charts
- Experience with KONG API Gateway, Ansible, Kafka, MongoDB
- Problem-solving attitude and collaborative mindset
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and scripting
