Job Overview
As a Software Engineer I, you'll be part of the R&D team developing KLDiscovery’s cutting-edge eDiscovery solutions. This is a full-time work-from-home role where you’ll collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to build scalable, customer-focused software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, and test .NET and Angular-based software
- Implement and maintain automated unit and API tests
- Build and improve automated upgrade/deployment systems
- Debug and support production applications
- Review peer code and participate in regular release validation
- Follow Agile development workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Write and maintain high-quality documentation
- Ensure adherence to secure coding and quality standards
Required Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in .NET/C# development
- Basic to intermediate front-end development (preferably Angular)
- Experience in unit/integration testing
- Database expertise in SQL Server or PostgreSQL
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Version control (e.g., Git) and CI tools knowledge
- Fluent English communication (C1 level)
Preferred Skills
- REST API development
- Knowledge of DevOps, containers (Docker), and cloud (AWS/Azure)
- Agile methodology exposure
- Strong understanding of data protection and privacy principles
