System Engineer – Karix
Location: Hyderabad, India

Karix is seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deploy product updates, troubleshoot production issues, and implement integrations to meet customer needs. You will work closely with internal teams and manage configuration, automation, and operational processes efficiently and securely.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement integrations requested by internal teams/customers
• Provide Level 2 technical support for internal teams
• Build tools to reduce errors and improve customer experience
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, deploy updates and fixes
• Develop scripts to automate visualization and monitoring
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Provide 24×7 support with flexibility for shifts

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of ITIL
• Strong Linux administration & troubleshooting skills
• Experience with scripting, VMware, Cron scheduling for backups, LVM
• Basics of Java, C++, Ansible, Nginx, Apache, Tomcat
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, routing)
• Understanding of UAT-DC-DR environment, VAPT, SCD, SCR, SAN storage
• Knowledge of MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, backup & restore (Commvault)
• Package installation, patch management, and upgrades
• Shell scripting, Python, Perl
• Awareness of best practices in high-availability IT operations
