Internship Overview

• Position: DevOps & Cloud Deployment Intern
• Location: Hyderabad, Telangana (Remote-first with occasional meetups)
• Type: Internship (3–6 months)
• Stipend: ₹6,000 – ₹10,000 per month
• Bonus: Performance-based (MVP milestones & reliability KPIs)

This is a remote-first internship where you’ll work alongside senior engineers on real-world DevOps and cloud projects. You’ll get hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP deployments, monitoring, and security practices.

What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)

• CI/CD: Build and maintain pipelines (lint, test, build, deploy, rollback).
• Containerization: Package services using Docker and manage images & registries.
• Cloud Deployments: Assist with AWS/GCP provisioning and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary).
• Infrastructure as Code: Contribute Terraform/YAML for reproducible infrastructure.
• Monitoring & Logs: Set up alerts & dashboards (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver).
• Environment Management: Manage dev/stage/prod configs and secrets (SSM, Secrets Manager).
• Reliability: Support runbooks, health checks, backups, and recovery drills.
• Security Basics: Patch images, apply IAM least privilege, key rotation, dependency scanning.
• Cost Optimization: Track usage, right-size instances, and manage resource tagging.

Qualifications

• Coursework in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering (or equivalent projects).
• Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting, and Git/GitHub.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket Pipelines).
• Basics of Docker and at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Understanding of networking (HTTP, DNS, TLS), REST APIs, and config management.
• Curiosity, ownership, and strong communication skills.
