Job Description
Join Jump Trading's elite 10-week Tech Ops Internship program in Mumbai — a gateway to full-time engineering roles in one of the most competitive financial technology environments.
Jump Trading combines cutting-edge research, low-latency systems, and collaborative engineering to empower global financial markets. This internship will immerse you in managing and optimizing high-performance trading systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor and improve real-time trading environments
- Build automation tools for system performance and reliability
- Collaborate with traders, operations, and engineering teams
- Troubleshoot network, systems, and trading platform issues
- Design and optimize low-latency networks in global data centers
- Work on DevOps-based workflows and operational risk management
- Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Skills You’ll Need:
- Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems and shell scripting
- Practical programming skills in Python
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, multicast, ethernet)
- Sharp attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a collaborative attitude
- High availability and willingness to work in a real-time tech ops environment
