Job Description:
Jenoptik is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their international photonics group. The role demands expertise in Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, .NET, Node.js, and more. You’ll manage CI/CD pipelines, deploy web apps, and shape modern DevOps culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, Docker & Kubernetes
- Automate build, test, deployment using scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Manage Azure-hosted & containerized environments
- Collaborate with dev teams to create & document dev/test/prod environments
- Enforce DevOps & security best practices
- Troubleshoot deployment and pipeline issues
- Continuously optimize development workflows
- Implement monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5–8 years experience as DevOps Engineer or similar
- Strong hands-on skills in Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, .NET, Node.js
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Azure Templates, or CloudFormation)
- Familiar with config management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Git & version control proficiency
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum, SDLC
- Excellent communication and debugging skills
