Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate application and system alerts using a variety of observability tools.
• Diagnose issues across cloud and on-prem components, supporting uptime and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Participate in a 12/7 on-call rotation for incident support and escalation.
• Support continuous integration and delivery efforts in a dynamic DevOps environment.

Technical Skills (Required Experience in at least 2 tools per section)

Monitoring & Logging:

• Datadog
• Kibana / Elasticsearch
• Grafana

Operating Systems & Application Servers:

• Linux and Windows administration
• WebLogic / Tomcat

Containerization & Orchestration:

• Docker
• Kubernetes
• GKE or AKS (Google Kubernetes Engine / Azure Kubernetes Service)

Networking:

• TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP protocols
• Load balancer configurations

Programming & Scripting:

• Java
• Python
• Go

Cloud Platforms:

• GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
• Azure
• Understanding of general cloud computing principles

CI/CD Tools:

• Jenkins
• General knowledge of continuous integration/delivery practices
