Job Overview

Join the ISS Market Intelligence team and help build and maintain advanced financial platforms in the US, UK, and Australia. As a Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing new products and enhancing existing systems for global asset managers and insurers.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable Python and JavaScript code
• Collaborate on architecture, code reviews, and agile ceremonies
• Develop and deploy scalable solutions using cloud platforms like AWS
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and best practices
• Communicate effectively with international business and technical teams

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in software development
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with Python
• Experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, TypeScript)
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git or SVN
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with cloud services: AWS / Azure / GCP
• Exposure to microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
