Job Description:

Irdeto is hiring a SOC Engineer to monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application incidents affecting global systems. The role involves working with cybersecurity, cloud computing, and IT service management, ensuring maximum availability and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for internal & external customers.
• Troubleshoot incidents quickly based on documented run-books and procedures.
• Respond effectively to monitoring alerts, incident tickets, and information requests within SLAs.
• Communicate and notify stakeholders about major issues.
• Work on continuous improvement, development, and maintenance of procedures.
• Automate operational tasks using tools like Slackbot, FreshService workflows, etc.
• Work with monitoring tools (Splunk Cloud, Splunk Observability, Grafana, Pingdom, AWS CloudWatch).
• Maintain and support SOC tool suite.
• Work in a 24x7 shift rotation.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a team player attitude.
• Understanding of Windows & Linux environments.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, PowerShell is a plus).
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS preferred, Azure, Google Cloud beneficial).
