Key Responsibilities:

• Report to the Platform Support Manager and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Provide technical support for incoming queries related to proprietary technologies, computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, and peripherals.
• Manage InvestCloud’s proprietary technologies for data management and distribution.
• Serve as an escalation point for production support issues.
• Contribute to Platform-level projects and maintain best practices for technical operations.
• Participate in brainstorming and team idea-generation sessions.
• Continuously develop expertise in key technical areas.

Requirements:

• Experience in systems administration or DevOps (preferred but not required).
• Working knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS preferred).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Groovy preferred).
• Experience with text editors like Vim or Emacs.
• Proficiency in managing web servers (Nginx, IIS, Tomcat, Apache, Glassfish).
• Understanding of DNS administration (A, CNAME, MX, TXT).
• Experience in Active Directory administration.
• Knowledge of SSL certificate enrollment processes.
• Familiarity with VMWare vSphere.
• Comfortable with PC and Mac setup and troubleshooting.
• Ability to support users with varying levels of technical expertise.
