Job Purpose

Join ICE’s Infrastructure Cloud Team and work with cutting-edge AWS cloud technologies.
The team provides developer collaboration tools, build/release pipelines, and a shared AWS cloud platform, enabling engineers to confidently deploy product features into production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop utilities or enhance existing application and system management tools to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
• Build and maintain Terraform/CloudFormation templates to automate AWS deployments and configurations.
• Review and refine design/architecture documents for operational readiness, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Monitor cloud technologies and stay updated on industry trends.
• Participate in on-call rotations, identifying opportunities to reduce toil and technical debt.
• Introduce automation to streamline administrative and operational tasks.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• 2+ years experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or SRE roles within an AWS cloud environment.
• Strong experience with AWS services: Lambda, EC2, ECS, ELB, EventBridge, Kinesis, Route 53, SNS, SQS, CloudTrail, API Gateway, CloudFront, VPC, TransitGW, IAM, Security Hub, Service Mesh.
• Proficiency in Python or Golang.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven track record of automation in operational tasks.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Delivered services using API-first approaches.
• Background in system administration, network, or security.
