Job Description

Interapt is hiring a Junior DevOps Associate to join a team supporting high-growth, pre-IPO clients. This role is ideal for candidates seeking remote AWS DevOps engineer jobs with exposure to IT Audit, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) in a modern cloud environment.

You will contribute to infrastructure automation and security compliance while being cross-trained in ITGC, SOX, and NIST-aligned frameworks — building a foundation for certifications like CISA, CISM, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities

• Automate deployment, configuration management, and monitoring (primarily AWS)
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with compliance in mind
• Review systems for infrastructure security, access control, and change management
• Assist clients with IPO readiness and audit alignment
• Develop automation scripts for evidence collection and risk control processes
• Act as technical SME in client sessions

Requirements

• 1+ years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience
• Proficient with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Scripting with Python, Bash, or similar
• Strong communication skills for client-facing collaboration

• Interest in IT Audit, SOX, NIST, or COSO frameworks
• Experience in regulated or pre-IPO environments (fintech, healthcare)
