Ingress IT Solutions is hiring a Fresher DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering and DevOps Automation team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who want hands-on experience with AWS Cloud, DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Linux system administration, and infrastructure automation in real-world AI & SaaS production environments.

About the Role

As a Junior / Fresher DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with senior DevOps and software engineering teams to support cloud infrastructure, application deployments, automation, monitoring, and system reliability. You will gain practical experience in cloud computing, DevOps lifecycle management, and CI/CD automation while working on live projects.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management (AWS)

• Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining AWS Cloud infrastructure for web and SaaS applications.
• Work with Amazon EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, and related AWS services.
• Monitor cloud servers for performance, uptime, availability, and cost optimization.
• Support routine cloud operations, backups, access management, and security configurations.

DevOps Automation & CI/CD Pipelines

• Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools.
• Automate application deployment processes to improve software delivery speed and reliability.
• Work with Git and GitHub for version control, branching strategies, and code collaboration.
• Support build, test, and deployment workflows for cloud-native applications.

Linux, Scripting & System Operations

• Work on Linux server administration tasks including process monitoring, log analysis, and basic troubleshooting.
• Write and maintain BASH shell scripts for automation and routine operational tasks.
• Assist with system updates, patching, and performance optimization.

Containers, Monitoring & Reliability

• Gain exposure to Docker containerization and container-based application deployments.
• Assist in monitoring applications and infrastructure using CloudWatch, logs, and alerts.
• Learn and apply DevOps best practices for scalability, security, and high availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth releases and minimal downtime.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Maintain clear documentation for cloud infrastructure, CI/CD workflows, and deployment processes.
• Work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to support agile and DevOps-driven delivery models.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Fresher with strong fundamentals in DevOps, Cloud Computing, and Software Deployment concepts.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS Cloud services and cloud servers.
• Good understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
• Basic knowledge of BASH scripting and automation concepts.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and version control systems.
• Understanding of networking basics (DNS, ports, protocols) and system administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies in a fast-paced environment.
