Job Overview – AWS Support Engineer

Ingram Micro is hiring an AWS Support Engineer for its Bangalore, India office.
This is a full-time, professional engineering role within the Sales & Cloud Support team focused on delivering technical excellence to clients using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

As an AWS Support Engineer, you will design, implement, and support customized cloud solutions combining Ingram Micro technologies and third-party cloud products to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver AWS-based cloud infrastructure and support solutions tailored to client needs.
• Participate in solution design, integration, and implementation processes.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and client training as needed.
• Manage installation, configuration, and customization of AWS environments.
• Assist clients in adopting best practices for scalability, cost optimization, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technical solutions.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers and support staff.
• Handle complex technical challenges and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

What You Bring to the Role

• 5+ years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years of specific AWS experience.
• Expertise in AWS cloud services, networking, and system integration.
• Strong background in solution design, cloud operations, and customer support.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Proven experience handling complex and critical technical issues.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate / Professional.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible).
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows system administration.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus).
• Understanding of cloud security and compliance best practices.
