Role Overview – DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at Infrrd, you will collaborate with cross-functional development, QA, and operations teams to design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure. You will implement continuous integration and delivery workflows, manage Kubernetes clusters, and optimize cloud services for production environments.

This role is ideal for engineers with 2–5 years of experience in CI/CD, cloud platforms, and system automation, or for ambitious freshers with strong cloud/DevOps exposure seeking hands-on industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.
• Deploy, scale, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, including workload orchestration, monitoring, and auto-scaling.
• Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, Route 53, CloudWatch, RDS, and Redis Cache.
• Integrate DevOps pipelines with API management tools and security scanning solutions.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth production deployments and hotfixes.
• Implement DevSecOps best practices, including automated security checks and secret management.
• Document infrastructure, CI/CD processes, troubleshooting steps, and DevOps best practices.
• Monitor system health, analyze logs, and ensure high availability and performance for production systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech / B.E.) from a reputed university.
• 2–5 years hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud automation.
• Strong expertise in GitHub, branching strategies, integration, and merging workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipeline setup, automated builds, and deployment workflows.
• Kubernetes administration and cluster management experience (mandatory).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including EC2, S3, Route 53, CodePipeline, and CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Exposure to configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and scripting (Groovy, Shell, PowerShell).
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and security integrations.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Experience with API management tools and service bus architecture.
• Knowledge of Redis cache, messaging queues, and database integration.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
