Role Overview

Infineon is looking for a passionate and driven Trainee Engineer to join the team in developing components of SDKs for secure microcontrollers. This is a hands-on role involving model development, debugging, test suite creation, and Agile-based innovation.

Your Responsibilities

• Understand and work with ARM / 80x51 microcontroller architectures
• Develop or enhance functional models in C++
• Build regression test suites using C
• Debug and resolve issues reported via change requests or bugs
• Participate in Agile Scrum based development
• Perform automated code generation from specifications
• Engage in innovation and knowledge-sharing activities with team members

Your Profile

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

• 1–2 years industry experience
• Strong in OOPS, C++, STL, data structures, algorithms
• Experience developing C++ models for virtual platforms or SoCs
• Familiarity with IDEs/debuggers like Keil
• Knowledge of SDLC and use of unit testing tools
• Bonus: experience with code generation tools and scripting in Python, Mako, Perl, or Windows scripting
• Ability to interpret product specifications and write relevant test cases
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, quality-focused, and a good team player
