Job Summary

As a DevOps Engineer-I at Increff, you will be key in building and maintaining infrastructure and automation pipelines that allow our engineering teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently and reliably. You will collaborate with the development team to streamline the software development lifecycle, improve system stability, and foster a DevOps culture. This role provides a great opportunity to develop DevOps skills in a dynamic and technically challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization and scalability solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of monitoring and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into their workflows.
• Document processes and procedures for infrastructure and deployments.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in DevOps or a related role.
• Strong understanding of Linux and command-line tools.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and concepts.
• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles (using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) is a plus.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive, automation-first mindset.
