InCred Financial Services is hiring a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable infrastructure on public cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Enforce cloud security best practices: server hardening, patch management, and vulnerability scanning.
• Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
• Build, deploy, and manage containers using Docker or containerd.
• Administer Linux systems with deep knowledge of memory, networking, and storage subsystems.
• Configure robust networks: DNS, TCP/IP, OSI Layers, routing, load balancing.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automate deployments and monitoring using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a public cloud environment (AWS preferred).
• Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (setup, management, debugging).
• Proficiency with Docker/containerd and orchestration tools.
• Linux system administration with kernel-level knowledge.
• In-depth understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, routing, OSI layers, and load balancing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and GitOps practices.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
• Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in fintech or regulated environments (compliance/security exposure).
• Experience with Service Tiering, SLOs, and SLIs.
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or Go.
• Familiarity with CDN configurations, edge caching strategies, and multi-origin architecture.
