About the Role

IMA360 is hiring a DevOps Intern with strong foundational skills in Linux, cloud fundamentals, containerization, CI/CD, and troubleshooting mindset. This role is ideal for recent graduates in Computer Science who are eager to build a strong career in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and SRE.

Note: Candidates who are still studying are not eligible.

Minimum Qualifications

• Recent graduate in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• Basic comfort with Linux command-line (bash).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP, UDP, Ports, DNS).
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (preferably Golang, Python, or Bash).
• Basic knowledge of Git and version control.
• Strong eagerness to learn and troubleshoot issues.

Must-Have Technical Skills (Entry-Level Expectations)

Docker

• Build Docker images.
• Write Dockerfiles.
• Run containers and map volumes & ports.

Kubernetes

• Understanding of pods, services, deployments.
• Basic usage of kubectl.
• Ability to read pod logs, describe resources, and debug common issues.

CI/CD

• Understanding of build → test → deploy pipelines.
• Able to read pipeline configs and trigger runs.
• GoCD familiarity is a plus.

PostgreSQL

• Basic SQL commands: SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE.
• Connect to DB, run simple migrations, and perform backups.

Cloud Fundamentals

• Knowledge of AWS or Azure core services (Compute, Storage, IAM).
• Ability to use cloud Console/CLI for basic tasks.

Golang

• Read and understand simple Go services.
• Run services locally and debug basic issues.

Observability Basics

• Ability to read logs (app/system).
• Use system tools: top, ps.
• Retrieve application logs.
• Familiarity with Prometheus/Grafana is helpful (not mandatory).
