Job Description:
Illumina is looking for a Software Test Engineer to join their Lab Services (ILS) software team. This role involves test case review, executing tests, developing automation scripts, and ensuring software compliance with medical device standards. The role is collaborative and follows Agile Scrum methodology.

Responsibilities:

• Review and execute test cases to ensure verification coverage
• Develop and review automated test scripts using Python and Selenium
• Test REST APIs and Web UIs
• Identify, track, and verify bugs
• Ensure software verification aligns with quality and medical device standards

Requirements:

• Experience in automated test development using Python and Selenium
• Knowledge of different software testing methodologies
• Experience in testing REST APIs and Web UIs
• Comfortable with Linux command line
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in software verification within a regulated environment
• Familiarity with Jama, Jira, Git, and GitHub
• ISTQB Certification in Software Testing (preferred)
