Job Description:

IFS is looking for a passionate Undergraduate Trainee – DevOps Engineer to join its Research and Development team, focusing on Quality Engineering and Platform Operations. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain real-world DevOps experience, work with cloud-native tools, and develop best practices within a global enterprise software leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze system performance and logs to identify areas for improvement
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines
• Learn DevOps and Platform Operations methodologies
• Gain hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Support version control workflows using Git
• Get exposure to major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Assist in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality improvement
• Document DevOps processes and maintain runbooks
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve software issues

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Java, Python, or C++
• Familiarity with software testing and QA methodologies
• Exposure to version control systems (Git preferred)
• Interest in DevOps and platform engineering concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
• Understanding of CI/CD principles is a plus
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is beneficial
