Key Responsibilities:

• Create and update API/Microservice designs and documentation.
• Review and sign-off user stories and low-level designs created by Technical Architects.
• Perform code reviews ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural principles.
• Collaborate with IT Project Managers to develop and maintain project plans.
• Resolve development blockers and maintain open communication with architects and management.
• Ensure DevOps pipeline requirements are integrated effectively with the DevOps team.
• Work with QA teams to apply quality gates and ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Prepare production support walkthrough documents and release checklists.

Requirements:

• Cloud Native Technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Istio Service Mesh
• Traditional Technologies: Bash/Shell scripting, Groovy or Java, Unix/Linux, Jenkins, GitHub
• Strong experience in designing, building, and maintaining distributed containerized platforms.
• Expertise in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Proficient in API design, microservices architecture, and DevOps best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical blockers efficiently.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in cloud environments and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Proficient in automation tools and scripting languages for process optimization.
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies like Istio.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Ability to create comprehensive documentation and support materials.
