Job Responsibilities

• DevOps Roadmap Management: Manage, maintain, and deliver tasks on the DevOps roadmap.
• Infrastructure Management: Help shape, maintain, and support large-scale distributed cloud infrastructure.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage ECS and EKS infrastructure.
• Automation Tools: Exposure to infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Containerization: Implement and manage containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• CI/CD Pipeline Maintenance: Maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation of infrastructure and processes.

Job Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years as an engineer on a software development team.
• Cross-functional Team Experience: Prior experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Skills in Systems Architecture: Systems architecture and design skills.
• Scripting Proficiency: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Automation Experience: Build and deployment automation experience, especially in containerized environments.
• Ops Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with ECS, Logstash, Datadog, Kibana, EKS, etc.
• Cloud Experience: Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Production Systems: Comfort with maintaining live production systems.
• Collaboration Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Microservices Knowledge: Experience with microservices architectures and serverless computing.
• Security Best Practices: Knowledge of cloud security best practices including identity and access management, network security, and encryption.
