Job Overview
Hitachi Digital Services is hiring a Linux & AWS Admin to join their Enterprise Applications team in Bengaluru. The role involves supporting Linux-based systems and cloud infrastructure in AWS, contributing to enterprise-grade digital transformation projects across industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux servers across development, staging, and production environments.
• Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and security groups.
• Automate server and infrastructure management using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Monitor system health, logs, and alerts to ensure uptime and performance.
• Collaborate with developers, security teams, and stakeholders to support business applications.
• Maintain compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Document standard operating procedures and system configurations.
• Participate in on-call rotation for production support.
• Continuously evaluate and improve operational efficiency through automation.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Linux server administration (Red Hat/CentOS/Ubuntu).
• Solid understanding of AWS services and architecture.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Shell.
• Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Nagios, or Zabbix.
• Good understanding of IAM, networking, security groups, firewalls, and VPCs.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• AWS certifications (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
