🚀 Role Overview:

As a Support Engineer, you'll manage complex customer support cases, troubleshoot escalated issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide timely solutions. This role demands excellent communication skills, advanced troubleshooting abilities, and a customer-first mindset.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complex support cases, resolving issues with customers directly
• Manage a dynamic workload of customer support cases, providing regular updates
• Take ownership of escalated cases and ensure customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and internal teams to identify root causes
• Act as an internal Subject Matter Expert (SME), creating knowledge base materials
• Continuously develop expertise in the Relyance platform and privacy technologies
• Support release readiness activities and attend cross-functional meetings
• Contribute to team growth by mentoring and upskilling colleagues

✅ Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• Experience:
  • 5+ years in Cybersecurity, Privacy (GRC), or Support Engineering roles
  • 3+ years of technical experience with web/mobile development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React), APIs, and integrations
• Strong understanding of GDPR, DSPM/AI governance, and DLP
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (phone, video, email)
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle high-pressure situations
• Flexibility to work night shifts and occasional weekends

• Privacy Certifications: CIPP/E, CIPM
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL)
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong technical background in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
