About the Role

Tower Research Capital, a leading high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their global SRE Team in Singapore. If you're passionate about Linux, automation, cloud solutions, and high-performance trading environments, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Ensure the smooth operation of the firm's Linux-based trading infrastructure.
🔹 Provide second-level support, including rapid emergency response and performance tuning.
🔹 Develop automated solutions for server provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
🔹 Collaborate with Trading and Core Engineering teams.
🔹 Manage core services such as DHCP, LDAP, DNS, and NFS in on-prem and cloud data centers.
🔹 Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

✔ Expertise in Linux production environments.
✔ Basic knowledge of Python and Bash scripting.
✔ Experience with automation and monitoring tools.
✔ Strong understanding of Linux internals & networking.
✔ Familiarity with Intel-based server hardware.
✔ Knowledge of cloud services & architectural solutions.
✔ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
✔ Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

🎯 Experience in High-Frequency Trading, Quantitative Finance, or low-latency environments.
🎯 Contributions to open-source projects.
