Job Description
Zapier is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help scale and enhance automation, performance, and reliability in its cloud infrastructure. This role involves managing infrastructure, optimizing Kubernetes and serverless services, and ensuring the high availability of Zapier’s platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Helm.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS) and AWS Lambda.
- Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve infrastructure efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams to design scalable and reliable solutions.
- Develop services for system integrations and high-traffic workloads.
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve performance.
- Participate in on-call rotations for incident response and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Systems Administration, or SRE.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar programming languages.
- Strong problem-solving and system design skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm).
