About the Role

As an Automation Test Engineer (SDET-1), you will ensure high software quality through automated and manual testing. You will collaborate closely with developers to create test plans, execute tests, and diagnose issues.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute functional, regression, performance, and security test plans.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
• Participate in release management, including test environment setup and production support.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify defects.
• Prioritize testing efforts for timely and high-quality software releases.
• Create and maintain automation test cases for various scenarios.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in writing clean, efficient test cases.
• Strong experience in requirement analysis, test design, development, and execution.
• Hands-on experience in defect tracking and reporting (JIRA, Zephyr, etc.).
• Experience in UI & API automation with Java, Selenium, Rest Assured.
• Understanding of system-level testing, functional, performance, and regression testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
• Ability to raise and address quality concerns proactively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a startup environment.
• Background in SaaS application testing.
