Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced PL/SQL Developer with strong PostgreSQL expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of database technologies, complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, database optimization, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
✅ Work with PostgreSQL databases, designing schemas, tables, and indexes for optimal performance.
✅ Perform database tuning and optimization for high-performance applications.
✅ Collaborate with application developers for smooth database integration.
✅ Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues (data discrepancies, performance problems).
✅ Write and maintain technical documentation for database architecture, queries, and processes.
✅ Monitor database security, stability, and performance.
✅ Participate in database migrations and data transformation processes.
✅ Provide technical support and mentoring to junior developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✔ Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer, with expertise in query optimization.
✔ Strong experience with PostgreSQL database management and development.
✔ Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and other database scripting languages.
✔ Knowledge of database design principles and normalization techniques.
✔ Expertise in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
✔ Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
✔ Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

➕ Experience in database migration (from other RDBMS to PostgreSQL).
➕ Familiarity with MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
➕ Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions (AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, Azure SQL).
➕ Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
