Shift Timing: Monthly rotational (24/7 support role)

Job Description:
A Platform Operations Engineer is responsible for supporting multiple applications across different technologies in an enterprise-hosted environment. The role involves troubleshooting, performing upgrades, collaborating with teams, and ensuring seamless system operations.

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage workload, resolve issues, and balance priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Analyze client and team requests to solve technical challenges.
• Engineer solutions to meet SLAs and client expectations.
• Monitor and fine-tune applications through enhancements and integrations.
• Perform scheduled upgrades of applications.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for complex assignments and mentor junior team members.
• Document production environments, design changes, and standard operating procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or 3 years with a master’s degree (PhD candidates can apply without prior experience).
• Basic knowledge of Operating Systems, Databases, and Networking concepts.
• Proficiency in Linux administration (RedHat, CentOS, Rocky Linux).
• Understanding of web servers, application servers, DNS, and mail servers.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Shell, Python).
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible) is a plus.
• Industry certifications related to supported applications are an advantage.
• Experience in system zones management, Linux server administration, security management, log analysis.
• Ability to analyze security scans and assist in vulnerability remediation.
• Basic knowledge of ELK stack and Tableau is beneficial.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
