Job Description
Linux Engineer (Deployment & Support) – TechBridge Consultancy Services
We are looking for a Linux Engineer to join our team at TechBridge Consultancy Services, specializing in deployment and support. This role is ideal for freshers or professionals with up to 1 year of experience in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements
- Immediate Joiner preferred.
- Educational Qualification: B.Tech/BCA/MCA/BSc-IT/MSc-IT or an equivalent degree in computer science or IT.
- Experience: Minimum 0-1 years in Linux system administration, deployment, and support.
- Mandatory Skill: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux operating systems.
- Location: Gurugram, India
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers and applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal server uptime.
- Provide technical support for Linux-related issues, including software and network troubleshooting.
- Work on deployment processes, ensuring smooth rollout of applications and system updates.
- Automate repetitive tasks using shell scripting or other tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system optimization and security enhancements.
Desired Skills
- Good understanding of Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, etc.).
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, VPN).
- Familiarity with server monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Ability to write basic Bash scripts for automation.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
