Job Description

As an L1 Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, resolving IT-related issues, and ensuring smooth helpdesk operations for end-users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Log, track, and resolve trouble tickets using a ticketing system.
  • Provide telephone support for hardware, software, and system issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve first-level problems by guiding users through troubleshooting steps.
  • Assign issues to technical specialists when needed.
  • Provide remote access support via VPN connections.
  • Ensure timely resolution of tickets with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Follow escalation processes for unresolved issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all support interactions in the ticketing system.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
  • Passion for helping people and resolving IT issues.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years in customer/user support roles.
  • 1+ year experience with Microsoft Windows OS (client or server).
  • 1+ year in diagnosing and resolving PC, server, and printer issues.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Infrastructure Support L1, and Cloud Fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Windows 7 and internet troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of technical support workflows and service levels.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Client and Server OS.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing fundamentals.
