We are looking for a Physical Layer (L1) Development Engineer with a strong foundation in LTE and NR (5G) technologies. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development and optimization of physical layer algorithms for next-gen wireless communication systems.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

✅ Understand modulation, demodulation, channel estimation, channel coding, and rate matching.
✅ Work with FFT/IFFT Fourier transforms and OFDM symbols.
✅ Design and develop physical layer (L1) algorithms and protocols for LTE and NR systems.
✅ Implement and integrate PHY layer algorithms in software and hardware platforms.
✅ Focus on advanced techniques like modulation, coding, MIMO, and synchronization.
✅ Ensure PHY layer compliance with 3GPP standards and industry best practices.
✅ Troubleshoot physical layer performance issues and optimize operations.
✅ Support algorithm testing, including simulation and field testing.
✅ Continuously enhance physical layer performance through data analysis and improvements.
✅ Stay updated on 5G and emerging wireless communication technologies.

🎓 Required Qualifications

🎓 Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
📡 Expertise: Hands-on experience in LTE/NR (5G) physical layer development.
🔧 Techniques: Strong knowledge of OFDM, MIMO, channel coding, and synchronization.
📖 Theory: Deep understanding of wireless communication theory and signal processing.
💻 Programming: Proficiency in C, C++, MATLAB, or Simulink for PHY layer development.
📜 Standards: Familiarity with 3GPP LTE and 5G NR specifications.
🖥️ Platforms: Experience with hardware/software co-design, FPGA, or DSP is a plus.
🛠️ Testing: Hands-on experience with PHY layer testing tools like Keysight or Anritsu.
🧠 Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
